Опасность имитации

We have realized that the success of our Items don’t pass unnoticed…

Many people have informed us that, in some shops in Germany and Holland, you might find beds, armchairs and other Loom furniture, which are perfect imitations of the original LOOM ITALIA… so you might receive an offer for a bed “Alinea” which is not the authentic one, or an offer for a chair “Meno” which is not the authentic “Meno” produced here in Italy.

On this subject, there are some facts you must know.

To buy these imitations is:

1) NOT SAFE

the structures of this furniture are in Rattan and not in solid wood. We do not believe that, the durability and the resistance of these chairs or beds will come up to your expectation for a original Loom furniture because the Rattan is more sensitive to the pass of the seasons and of the years; also for these reasons it costs a third of the solid wood.
These Items are painted with doubtful origin and poor quality varnishes. It could be a serious menace to your health, because solvents and heavy metals, which could be contained in these varnishes, are absolutely harmful, especially if you will be on contact every day with it.
The Woven Fibre could be produce using no zinced steel… you don’t see it, but this kind of steel doesn’t posses the same mechanical characteristics of the stainless steel or zinced steel used by our company and in the production of all “authentic” Loom furniture.

2) NOT ECONOMIC

Almost every day, we receive offers, from China and from the far East, to buy big quantity of cheaper furniture copied from the catalogues of some European suppliers (also LOOM ITALIA).
Some European importers just purchase big parcels of  these furniture at low prices (paltry prices) and then they sell it here in Europe with prices not much lower than ours.
Sometimes, they also apply the mark “Made in UE” on the furniture.
The reality is that, in this way,  these importers made big profits without any efforts; in fact they sell these Items (without the characteristics you might expect from “authentic” Loom furniture) with “European prices”!  It is therefore important to please be aware of this possible deceit !
Additionally, these companies who are selling the “imitations” don’t  possess any production departments. Therefore, in case of problems or complaints, they can’t guarantee you any services after the selling.

Please remember… you are not buying a bed or a chair, but you are buying YOUR bed and YOUR chair… which are items that are part of your daily life.

Please consider these issues to determine what is best for you and for the people who are important and live close to you.  Most importantly, you have the right to make an “informed” purchase and to require the information that will determine if you are purchasing the authentic Loom furniture or the imitiations of which we speak.
